Any creative professional, creative enterprise, or creative SME operating in Nigeria's creative sectors — including film, music, fashion, digital content, visual arts, events, and publishing. You must hold an active account with Hibiscus Finance and have a verifiable source of income or revenue.
No. Hibiscus Finance does not require a minimum savings or current account balance as a loan eligibility condition. Eligibility is based on your income, cash flow, business viability, and creditworthiness — not your account balance.
Yes. Hibiscus Finance is one of the very few finance companies in Nigeria that recognises intellectual property — including music catalogues, film rights, royalty streams, brand licensing agreements, and publishing contracts — as legitimate primary collateral.
Individual applicants need a valid government-issued ID, proof of address, and evidence of income or business activity. Corporate applicants additionally need CAC registration documents, audited or management accounts, and details of directors. All applicants undergo a credit bureau check.
Our target is disbursement within 48–72 hours of final approval for standard individual loans. For production and project finance, funds are disbursed in agreed milestones aligned to your production schedule.
Repayment is structured around your revenue cycle, not a generic monthly schedule. We offer milestone-based, revenue-linked, and standard instalment repayment options. Repayments are domiciled to your Hibiscus Finance account.

Yes. Hibiscus Finance Company Limited is licensed and regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) as a Finance Company. We operate under the CBN's Revised Guidelines for Finance Companies and are subject to regular CBN examination and off-site surveillance.

Yes. Hibiscus Finance Company Limited is covered by the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC), which protects eligible deposits in the event of bank failure.
Hibiscus Finance operates initially from Lagos with plans to expand across Nigeria. Our digital platform will allow clients from any part of Nigeria to apply for and manage their accounts remotely from launch.
